After several guesses from the panel, The Masked Singer revealed the identity of the celebrity behind the Owl costume. Initially, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Ken Jeong believed it could be Ted Danson. Meanwhile, other panelists speculated that the Owl might be Dennis Quaid or Kurt Russell. However, none of their guesses turned out to be correct.
Here are all the details.

What happened on The Masked Singer Season 14 Episode 6?
The Masked Singer Season 14 Episode 6, titled “Twilight Night,” featured an epic singing battle between four contestants: Owl, 14K Carrot, Cat Witch, and Stingray. The Owl performed “White Wedding” by Billy Idol, which aptly fit the night’s theme. In addition to the singing performances, the judges and contestants received messages from their life partners in light of Valentine’s Day.
Later, the Stingray and the Owl were pitted against each other in a singing battle, out of which the one who lost would be unmasked. Both contestants tried their best, competing on the song “Love Is A Battlefield” by Pat Benatar.
While Stingray’s vocals were on point, the Owl’s performance seemed unbalanced, as he appeared to struggle to keep up with the music’s pace. As the Owl lost, he was asked to reveal himself, and behind the mask was Billy Ray Cyrus.
During the clue package, Cyrus, as the Owl, reflected on what it was like to follow his singing passion. He said, “I love America’s favorite pastime as much as anyone. But I’m no pro. Back in the day, I was a scrappy, right-handed slugger. Then one day, my heart was telling me something. This was not my path. So I turned in my glove. I knew there were other fields for me to play in. And guess what? I soared to success. Now that’s a lesson I try to teach my kids. Follow your heart, and no matter the field, you’ll always hit a grand slam.”
Now that the Owl has exited, it leaves the game with the contestants as follows: High Voltage, Pangolin, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, Pugcasso, Snow Cone, and Crane.
