Kylie Jenner has opened up about the filming of “The Moment.” The mockumentary also features Charli XCX, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, and Jamie Demetriou, among others. Recently, the beauty mogul sat down for an interview alongside Charli XCX and the director Aidan Zamiri. She shared her experience working on the film, including acting preparation.

In her interview with Instagram, Kyle Jenner discussed the preparation for filming “The Moment.” Charli XCX told Jenner how the latter is used to being on camera, and now she is doing something like this mockumentary. The “365” singer asked about the feeling of playing a version of herself, but a different, heightened experience. As such, the Kylie Cosmetics founder said, “I was very nervous up until we were actually doing it. I think I’m comfortable in front of cameras, less comfortable doing something I’ve never done before in front of people.”
Zamiri and the singer pointed out that Jenner showed no nervousness at all. Jenner stated, “I think after the first take, I was like, okay. I feel good about this and I was like very well prepared.” Subsequently, the director asked the ladies how they prepared for the film and if they read a lot. Jenner answered, “I read it a lot. Well, first I wanted to memorize my lines.” The mother of two added, “I was thinking of working with an acting coach, but then I’m like, I’m playing myself and it’s not, you know, I’m in the movie for like three minutes.”
However, Zamiri called it “the best three minutes of all time,” and Jenner agreed. The 28-year-old continued, “Just practicing with people that I trust, my friends and my family, that gave me confidence.” Further, the director asked Charli XCX, and she revealed preparing with an acting coach. Before “The Moment”, Jenner did a cameo as herself in the 2018 film, “Ocean’s 8.” Moreover, she has appeared in music videos and reality shows, with the most popular stint in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
