Absolut Vodka and Tabasco have joined forces to reveal their spicy new vodka flavor. Notably, it is a new chili pepper-flavored vodka that combines the best of both worlds to give fans a unique tasting beverage. This spicy vodka will eventually be made available in more than 50 markets across the globe.
Absolut and Tabasco collaborate for a new, unique flavored vodka
Absolut Vodka and Tabasco recently unveiled a new chili pepper-flavored vodka with an alcohol‑by‑volume (ABV) of 38 percent. Named Absolut Tabasco, it is made by infusing their signature vodka with a natural essence taken from the aged, fermented red pepper mash used in Tabasco Sauce.
This collaboration unites two iconic brands with an inimitable legacy to bring a unique and exciting vodka flavor to consumers. The heat and smell of Tabasco’s pepper sauce is balanced with Absolut’s smooth vodka profile (via Spiritz).
Moreover, diet-conscious drinkers would be interested to know that the Absolut Tabasco vodka contains no added sugar and is gluten-free. However, the spice levels will hit after a few sips and stay for a while.
Meanwhile, the Absolut Tabasco bottle design combines Tabasco’s trademark red color and diamond-shaped logo with Absolut’s hallmark apothecary shape. This new vodka flavor can be relished as a shot, or as a delicious flavor-filled base for cocktails.
The timing for Absolut Tabasco’s launch could not have been better. This is because there is a recent surge in global demand for spicy food and beverages. According to Spiritz, spicy vodka sales are estimated to grow by 27 percent by 2029.
Per Newsweek, Absolut Vodka revealed, “Each sip contains the distinct notes of aged chili peppers and vinegar with an underlying sweetness. This delivers a bold and pleasant heat experience that engages all the senses, immediately inviting another sip.”
Additionally, Craig van Niekerk, global vice president of marketing for Absolut Vodka, said, “People want to feel some heat in their drinks. What better way to do it than by combining one of the world’s leading hot sauce brands with the world’s leading premium vodka brand?”
Made in Sweden, Absolut Tabasco will arrive in over 50 markets worldwide in February 2026. This includes the US and the UK.
