A report from Polish site PPE says Graczdari thinks Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two, might hold back the boxed version to prevent leaks.
Their insider claims, “We are getting more and more information that the box version will not be released simultaneously with the digital version to prevent leaks (via Video Games Chronicle).”
Now, because of the latest rumor, fans are left worried. Some sources suggest the physical edition could drop three to four weeks after the digital release. Meanwhile, others think it might not arrive until early 2027. If that’s true, physical copy fans could be waiting almost a full year after the digital launch.
