Netflix’s Extended Look at GTA 6 is a streaming hit
On August 27, Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premiered on Netflix. The special attracted a huge number of viewers worldwide. The massive audience even briefly put pressure on Netflix servers.
According to FlixPatrol, it reached No. 2 in the U.S. and remains No. 2 on Netflix’s U.S. Top 10. As of now, GTA 6 remains at No. 2. Rockstar Games released 26 minutes of new gameplay footage. The footage was captured on a standard PlayStation 5. It showed Vice City and several new gameplay details. Fans also saw Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Players can switch between both characters during gameplay. The footage also highlighted improved game physics and animations. Lucia is the first female playable main character. She appears in the modern HD GTA series.
Meanwhile, Jason is Lucia’s male partner and love interest. His past is connected to criminals and the army. Their relationship will be an important part of the GTA 6 storyline. There was no live commentary during the gameplay showcase.
