Vanna White ties the knot with John Donaldson

Vanna White, best known as the co-host of the game show Wheel of Fortune, has married her longtime partner, John Donaldson, in a private ceremony, according to her Instagram announcement on January 21, 2026.

“Surprise! We got married!” the television personality announced on Instagram. The post featured a photo in which Donaldson is seen carrying White under an archway.

The caption further added, “John and I have been in love for more than a decade, and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony. We’re excited to share this new, joyful chapter in our lives with all of you! Love, Vanna and John.”

The post received numerous reactions. “Congratulations!!” the official Wheel of Fortune page commented. “Oh, Vanna! Congratulations! So happy for you,” Donna Mills commented on the post. “Congratulations!!!! Rick & I are so happy for you both!” wrote Kathy Hilton. Many fans also shared congratulatory messages in the comments.

White and Donaldson have kept their relationship private for several years and have largely stayed out of the public spotlight. As a result, the decision to hold a private ceremony was consistent with their approach.

Last month, White gave an update on her relationship with E! News. “We’re very happy,” she said, “We’ve been together for a long time, and we are just happy the way it is. Maybe people want to see us get married. When you’ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you’re already married. You don’t have to have that piece of paper.”
