Ali Wong and Bill Hader appeared to share a deeply emotional moment just weeks before news emerged that the pair had quietly ended their on-again, off-again romance. Photos obtained by Page Six show Ali Wong, 43, and Bill Hader, 47, saying goodbye outside her car in Los Angeles on Nov. 21, 2025. The images captured Hader walking Wong to her vehicle with his arm wrapped around her.
Ali Wong and Bill Hader have reportedly broken up
The pair paused beside the car and looked at each other as Wong’s eyes appeared to fill with tears. They embraced, kissed on the lips, and Hader gently brushed her hair away from her face. Wong then held onto his arm while looking away, visibly emotional. After getting into her car, she continued chatting with Hader through the open window, even reaching out to hold his chin as he leaned in.
Hader dressed casually in a white T-shirt, navy pants, and black slides, while Wong opted for an off-duty look featuring a floral cardigan layered over a white tee, navy sweatpants, sunglasses, white sneakers, and a blue purse.
Wong and Hader first dated briefly in late 2022 following their respective breakups, Wong from her marriage to Justin Hakuta and Hader from a relationship with Anna Kendrick. They rekindled their romance in 2023 and eventually confirmed it publicly with a red carpet debut at the Directors Guild of America Awards in February 2025. Hader acknowledged the reunion that same month when he referred to Wong as his “girlfriend” during an interview with Collider.
Despite two years together, the couple largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. Wong did, however, reference Hader’s romantic side in her 2023 Netflix special Single Lady, revealing that he courted her with flowers and admitted he had considered her his “dream girl” for years.
