Stellan Skarsgård gets surprised by son Alexander at Critics’ Choice Awards
Stellan Skarsgård, the patriarch of the Skarsgård dynasty, got a sweet jump scare during his Critics’ Choice Awards appearance. The dynasty features several prominent actors who have made a mark in Hollywood and Scandinavia.
As seen in a clip posted by The Wrap on X, Stellan was speaking with The Wrap when Alexander quietly walked up behind him. For nearly a minute and a half, the Dogville actor did not realize that his son was standing directly behind him.
At the end of Stellan’s response, the interviewer asked Alexander if he had anything to add. When Stellan turned around and noticed his son, he jumped in surprise. The two then greeted each other, sharing a laugh.
The Wrap posted the clip with the caption, “Long may the Skarsgård Dynasty reign. For about 1:26, #SentimentalValue star Stellan Skarsgård had absolutely no idea that his son Alexander Skarsgård is fully breathing down his neck at the #CriticsChoiceAwards on Sunday evening.”
Many fans reacted to this. “Oh my, this is such a moment,” one user wrote, while another added, “Nothing but love and admiration for the Skarsgard Dynasty!!!”
