The NFL announced that Jon Hamm will host the NFL Honors at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts on February 5. Sponsored by Invisalign, the event shines a spotlight on the season’s biggest accomplishments, both on and off the field (via NBC Bay Area).

Hamm shared his excitement, saying every week the game gives them moments that show why this game matters so much. The Mad Men actor further added that he is thrilled to host a night celebrating the players, their incredible talents, and the unforgettable highlights of this season.

“Week after week, the NFL delivers performances that remind you why this game means so much to so many people. I’m honored to host an evening that celebrates the players, their immense talents, and the unforgettable moments that defined this season.”

This year’s NFL Honors will introduce the new Protector of the Year Award, recognizing the league’s top offensive lineman. Meant to honor the game’s often-overlooked heroes, the award will be a permanent part of the annual ceremony. Fans can catch the primetime event on NBC and the NFL Network, and it will also be available to stream on Peacock and NFL+.

Jon Hamm is no stranger to being in the spotlight. While most people know him as the Emmy-winning Don Draper from Mad Men, he’s also proven his knack for live hosting on Saturday Night Live and at various award shows.

Hamm’s career spans both film and TV, with roles in comedies like Bridesmaids and The Town, voice work in animated hits such as Shrek Forever After, and acclaimed series like Good Omens.
