Hugh Jackman’s Avengers: Doomsday Scenes Involve 2 Heroes – Report

Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine reportedly could collide with and eventually align alongside major MCU characters in Avengers: Doomsday. While many fans expect Avengers: Secret Wars to be the ultimate crossover event, new insider chatter indicates that Doomsday will already give long-awaited Marvel team-ups and hero-versus-hero clashes.

Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine also rumored to be in Avengers: Doomsday

Scooper MyTimeToShineHello claimed on X that “Hugh Jackman spend most of his screen time in Doomsday with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Tobey’s Spider-Man.” If accurate, this could lead to fighting and surviving arc with Wolverine directly alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man in Avengers: Doomsday. Rather than limiting his appearance to a brief cameo.

That claim lines up with broader rumors that Avengers: Doomsday will bring together heroes from across Marvel’s different cinematic eras. The movie is expected to feature the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men sharing the screen for the first time, with insiders also pointing to possible appearances from Spider-Man variants and Ghost Rider. Trade reports have already confirmed Reynolds’ return as Deadpool, making Wolverine’s involvement feel increasingly plausible.

Additional scoopers have expanded on how these characters might interact. Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus recently hinted that Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards may clash with Deadpool, teasing that Mister Fantastic could be fighting the “wrong mutant.” Perez doubled down on Deadpool’s Doomsday casting when questioned about Reynolds’ 2026 MCU return, responding with multiple Deadpool GIFs.

Meanwhile, insider Daniel Richtman has pointed to Wolverine facing off with Maguire’s Spider-Man, a matchup long rumored to be something Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige wanted to see on screen. Feige famously pushed for Wolverine to appear at the end of Spider-Man in 2002, a crossover that never materialized at the time (via The Direct).

Together, these reports suggest Avengers: Doomsday may lean heavily into superhero-versus-superhero confrontations before uniting its characters against a larger Multiversal threat. However, all of this remains officially unconfirmed.
