Jake Paul reveals ‘sparring the heavyweights’ has injured his nose
In probably the worst timing ever, Jake Paul’s nose is taking a beating ahead of his big fight against Anthony Joshua. Revealing how he got injured, the 28-year-old shared that it occurred while sparring in preparation for the December 19 match in Miami.
“It’s getting more crooked, brother,” Paul revealed during his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday, December 10. “I’m not gonna lie. Sparring the heavyweights, my nose has moved a couple millimeters this camp”, he further revealed.
Paul hasn’t revealed the full extent of the injury and hasn’t confirmed whether his nose is broken. However, it appeared visibly off-center to viewers and medical experts.
“A guy by the name of Frank Sanchez, he definitely cracked it a bit, so it definitely has a slight little something in there,” Paul explained. “But yeah, man, it’s bad. Look at that”, he added. Despite the injury, Paul remains confident in his boxing prowess and believes he will knock Joshua out in the fifth or sixth round.
The eight-round thrilling spectacle, billed as “Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day,” will take place at Kaseya Center. The event will stream live on Netflix. Opponent Anthony Joshua, 36, is making his comeback since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
