RHOSLC’s Jen Shah comes home from prison after 33 months

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jen Shah has been released from prison after serving 33 months behind bars, as per PEOPLE. She was held at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, till the early hours of Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

“We can confirm that Jennifer Shah transferred on December 10, 2025, from the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan to community confinement overseen by the Bureau of Prisons’ (BOP) Phoenix Residential Reentry Management (RRM) Office,” a BOP spokesperson told PEOPLE. “Community confinement means the inmate is in either home confinement or a Residential Reentry Center (RRC, or halfway house). For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not disclose an individual’s specific location while in community confinement,” the statement added.

Jen Shah and her assistant, Stuart Smith, were arrested in March 2021 for allegedly targeting thousands of individuals in a fraud scheme, which expanded across the nation. The pair was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Jen Shah pleaded guilty to the charges and was handed a six-and-a-half-year sentence. However, her sentence was reduced multiple times. These reductions in her sentence were attributed to good behavior, participation in prison programming, and financial payments she has begun making to the victims of her crimes.

As of now, it is not yet known what Shah’s living conditions are exactly. She could either have been released to her home or transferred to a halfway house, according to BOP policy.
