New reports suggest that Cher is ready to walk down the aisle once again and doesn’t care about what people have to say about her relationship’s age gap. Her previous marriage ended in 1979, and now, almost 45 years later, the “Goddess of Pop” reportedly wants to tie the knot with her 39-year-old boyfriend.

Multiple reports suggest that pop icon Cher is ready to commit to her boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards. She and the rapper have an age gap of 40 years, however, people’s comments do not seem to bother her. An insider reportedly told the Mirror, “Cher doesn’t give a hoot about their age difference and they’re both ready to commit to each other.”
“She has set her heart on walking down the aisle with him around the time of her landmark birthday in May. She sees her upcoming celebration at turning 80 as the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal the deal,” the insider added, as per Daily Mail. A source also told InTouch, “Cher and A.E. have had some bumps along the way, but the past year they have been solid as a rock, to the point where she’s started dropping hints that she wants him to marry her.”
Additionally, during a recent appearance on CBS Mornings, Cher opened up about her love for her boyfriend, saying, “You know, you get older, but your spirit is younger. I just love him. I think he’s beautiful and he’s really talented.” (via Page Six)

First romantically linked together in November 2022, Cher and Edwards made their red carpet debut together in March 2023, during the Versace fall 2023 fashion show. She first married Sonny Bono in 1964, and their marriage lasted until 1975, after which she married Gregg Allman later that same year.
