The cross-country move comes in the same season that NBC cancelled Manganiello’s game show Deal or No Deal Island. However, the couple revealed that their decision to move had been in the works for some time now.

In a new interview, Joe Manganiello’s fiancée, Caitlin O’Connor, confirmed that they have decided to leave L.A. They have moved to Mount Lebanon, a Pittsburgh suburb. She described it as a “recent move,” but one they had been thinking about for a while.
“I mean, L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” O’Connor said, explaining that while she was born in Los Angeles, she was raised in Pittsburgh just like Manganiello. “We’re both from the same hometown.” (via People)
The 36-year-old is especially awed by their new neighborhood in Pittsburgh, calling it picture-perfect. “I’ve never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It’s just idyllic,” O’Connor said, adding that it feels “safe” and welcoming.
Despite Joe Manganiello and Caitlin O’Connor leaving L.A., they have plans to move back and forth for work commitments. At the same time, they are getting accustomed to the colder weather of their hometown. She revealed, “I mean, I watched Joe shovel snow in our driveway for two-and-a-half hours yesterday. And it was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.”
The move comes amidst the holiday season. O’Connor expressed that they are planning a “big family celebration” in Pittsburgh. They will invite their parents and friends for Christmas. At the same time, NBC has cancelled Deal or No Deal Island, which Joe Manganiello was hosting.
