Band of The Month: The Mowgli’s Bring The Love in ‘San Francisco’ (Exclusive Performance)

We’ve enjoyed the hell out of The Mowgli’s run as CraveOnline’s July Band of The Month. This free-spirited collective is a rare blend of sunshine and screaming talent who first blew us away when they performed at our SXSW showcase this year (alongside Eagles of Death Metal, Reignwolf, My Goodness and more), tearing down the house with their harmony-rich blend of 70’s California folk and modern indie rock charm. Their songs convey a relentlessly upbeat positivity, a framework for their message of universal love.

The Mowgli’s debut album Waiting for the Dawn arrived last June, with breakthrough single “San Francisco” helping lead the way to a huge response from both fans and critics, achieving ubiquitous exposure on radio. It’s only fitting then, that after bringing you an exclusive interview and performance of “Leave It Up To Me” in our first installment, as well as a special performance of “The Great Divide” and the sushine-bright harmony-rich rocker “Clean Light,” we’re bringing it all to a close with the song that put them on the map – “San Francisco”! We’re proud to bring you one final jubilant dose of greatness from July’s Band of The Month, The Mowgli’s!

We’ll be catching The Mowgli’s next week at Lollapalooza, and you can keep up with our festival coverage right here. Pick up Waiting For The Dawn and keep up with The Mowgli’s at their official website, as well as on Twitter and Facebook!
