Fresh off their spectacular headlining set from SXSW at Crave’s hugely successful Music Showcase, New York’s rock-pop champions Semi Precious Weapons return today with another exclusive session performance as CraveOnline’s Band of The Month for March.
The band’s hotly anticipated new album Aviation (RedZone Records) is set to be released on April 22, with the recently released the four-song Aviation EP previewing the full-length, which you can pre-order now. Semi Precious Weapons taped an exclusive studio session at Swing House in Los Angeles, performing electrifying versions of songs off the new album. Semi Precious Weapons formed in 2006 and released their debut album We Love You in 2008. Graduates of the Berklee College of Music, the band immediately began drawing attention for their raucously tight and famously over-the-top live shows. Garnering a cult-like fan base and hefty critical acclaim, as well as a host of celebrity followers and industry insiders along the way, the band built on their momentum with a second full length, 2010’s You Love You.
