What happens in the In a Holidaze trailer?
In the official trailer for Netflix’s In a Holidaze, Maelyn gets stuck in a Christmas time loop after a major romantic mistake and wishes the universe a fresh start.
The trailer opens with Mae confessing to Benny (Lowe), her pseudo-uncle, that she accidentally kissed Theo (Kacavas) instead of Andrew (Phillips), aka the brother she’s had a crush on for a year. Mae feels this mistake has ruined the holiday.
Adding to the chaos, Mae is already an emotional wreck due to her parents’ divorce, and this trip to their snowy Utah cabin is set to be their last before the family considers selling it. But things take a turn when, after an accident or a desperate plea to the universe, Mae realizes she is reliving the exact same Christmas over and over again.
The rest of the trailer showcased Mae’s chaotic attempts to navigate the repeating holiday, change her choices, stop the cabin from being sold, and figure out what truly makes her happy.
In A Holidaze premieres globally on Netflix December 2, 2026.
