Guy Moshe’s The Fix follows a group of former CIA operators who head to Tehran for a daring rescue as redemption after their mission in Afghanistan ends in tragedy. Zachary Levi plays Tucker, the group leader, while Liam Neeson plays their mentor Larry.

In a recent interview with WCNC, Levi teased that The Fix is “layered in drama and action and mystery and twists and turns and the humanity that underlies all of it.”

Meanwhile, Neeson said, “Guy Moshe had written a very, very good script. Yes, it had action, it had a heist genre to it and ultimately, a very, very human soul. I was intrigued too because Guy was a special operations soldier himself in the late ’90s, and I loved working with him.”

Levi also opened up about the filming experience. “You’re in the trenches, the foxholes with your cast and crew, particularly if you are in a foreign place like the Republic of Georgia, where we were for most of the filming, and we were blessed to have a great crew in Georgia and the folks that all flew in,” he said. “It’s like your own little army, and you go to war to go make these things a reality.”

In addition to Neeson and Levi, The Fix also stars Annet Mahendru, Grant Harvey, Augusto Aguilera, and Elnaaz Norouzi. The movie has received mixed critical reviews following its premiere.
