Nicolas Cage Will Fight Vicious Cannibals in Wild New Post-Apocalyptic Action Movie Parish

Nicolas Cage is set to lead Parish, an upcoming post-apocalyptic action thriller in which he will face a vicious group of cannibals. Parish is set thirty years after a nuclear apocalypse and will star Cage as a “hardened survivor” who has spent decades protecting his sanctuary.

The film will follow Parish, a survivor who has managed to stay alive for three decades, living inside a heavily equipped compound with his highly trained attack dogs. His life changes when he allows a desperate woman and her infant into his refuge, breaking the rule of never letting anyone through the gate.

However, Parish’s decision exposes the refuge he has spent years protecting. The situation becomes even more dangerous when a vicious group of cannibals closes in on his compound. With his past catching up to him, he has to fight to protect everything he has left.

According to a Deadline report, filming is expected to begin in October 2026 in Minnesota. Parish will be produced by Joel Shapiro and Steven Tyler Sahlein. Concourse Media is handling the worldwide pre-sales ahead of the TIFF market.
