Disney has treated fans to an unforgettable musical extravaganza as part of D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration brought together the largest gathering of Disney Princess performers ever assembled on a single stage for a historic live reunion.
Held at Paradise Gardens Park inside Disney California Adventure Park, the concert officially kicked off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a multi-day celebration highlighting Disney’s rich storytelling legacy and creativity.
Disney Legends and modern Princess stars shared one magical stage
The live event featured stunning performances from actresses and singers who brought these iconic characters to life. The concert opened with Brandy singing “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella (1950). Brandy starred as the titular princess in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (1997).
The evening also saw Disney veteran Paige O’Hara, the original voice of Belle in Disney’s animated Beauty and the Beast (1991), perform “Belle Reprise” and “Something There” with Susan Egan, the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway.
Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel from The Little Mermaid (1989), joined live-action Ariel, Halle Bailey, in performing the movie’s iconic track, “Part of Your World.”
Next, Auli’i Cravalho, who voiced Moana in the animated film series, performed “How Far I’ll Go.” Catherine Laga’aia, who portrayed the live-action version of Moana, later joined Cravalho for a duet of “Along the Way.”
Disney Legend Lea Salonga, the original singing voices of Jasmine and Mulan, delivered a powerful performance. Fans were also mesmerized by the performances of Judy Kuhn, the original singing voice of Pocahontas, and Anika Noni Rose, the original voice of Tiana.
Fans who missed the live performance need not worry. According to Variety, the concert will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting Sunday, August 16, 2026. The concert will also air on linear television across Disney Channel and Freeform, as well as during The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC.
