I’m not a gamer at all, but I know people that would run over their own mom in order to get their hands on the latest, hottest video game. I also know that those same people will ignore everyone in their life and focus on that video game for months. Well, Ashley Davison wasn’t going to let that happen.

Davison, a University of Central Oklahoma student, recently bought her boyfriend, Blake Perry, a copy of the new Call of Duty game for Xbox. And that’s pretty damn nice. But there was something else Davison gave her boyfriend: a “Rules for Your New Gift” page as well.

Perry shared the set of rules on his Twitter. Have a look below:

Here’s a closer look:

As you can see, the rules are as followed:

1. If I call you must pause the game and talk to me with full attention

2. No starting another match if we are planning to hang out or I ask to hang out

3. You must ask if it is okay for you to play while I am over at your house with you. Make sure I have something to do while you are in battle.

4. You must reply to a text no longer than 11 minutes

5. Do not forget to give me just as much attention.

Perry also decided to add this tweet:

Sure, buddy, whatever you say.

While Davison may have claimed this to be a joke, lord knows if Perry breaks one of these rule he may find his new game smashed into pieces.

Here’s how Twitter was reacted to this:
