United Airlines Drags Man Off Plane After They Overbooked A Flight

I will come out and say it because many people have already said it: United Airlines is a piece of garbage. People are literally riding a dumpster with wings.

Just a few weeks after United Airlines got backlash after they refused to let two young girls on a flight because they were wearing leggings, this terrible airline is back in the news for another negative reason. After United Airlines overbooked a flight, (it boggles my mind that a million dollar company can’t properly book a flight), the airline asked for four volunteers to leave the plane and be put on another flight the next day. Three people volunteered for some reason, but after no one else volunteered the airline chose someone at random, and that’s when things flew off the handle.

The incident, which occurred on a flight that was set to go from Chicago to Louisville, was caught on tape and shows a man, who is a doctor, refusing to get off the plane because he had to be at the hospital the next day. Well, this is the shit that went down. Take a look at it below thanks to Tyler Bridges.

Well that’s awful.

A witness, Jayse Anspach, described the events on his Twitter.

And here’s that video:

And here’s the useless statement from United Airlines:

“Flight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked. After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate. We apologize for the overbook situation.”

Oh, I get it. If you pay for a seat, and refuse to leave the flight you’ll get a busted lip.

Thanks, United Airlines.

No word yet on how the doctor is doing.
