According to The Canadian Press, DSquared2 will be designing the outfits for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games Canadian teams.
Owners Dean and Dan Caten were announced as the official designers Thursday by Hudson’s Bay Co., the official team outfitter of Team Canada.
“We are constantly inspired by Canada, so it is an honour to partner with Hudson’s Bay in dressing Team Canada,” the Catens said in an official statement. “The opening ceremony look is made with our passion for our birth country mixed with the energetic spirit of Dsquared2.”
The new outfits are scheduled to be revealed next April. The Rio Olympic Games 2016 take place this summer, kicking off on August 5th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
