SoFloAntonio Responds to Claims He Steals Content in Awkward Video

Yesterday we reported upon how popular Facebook page SoFlo was called out by YouTube channel h3h3Productions for stealing other creators’ content. SoFlo, which has amassed over 6 million likes on Facebook, continues to re-upload other creators’ content and pass it off as their own, attributing credit to stagnant Facebook pages that it is assumed they themselves created.

With this practice being all too common on Facebook, h3h3Productions protested by creating a page of their own, titled SoFloBro, in which they re-uploaded content from SoFlo’s YouTube page. Facebook responded by deleting the SoFloBro account and transferring all the likes it had received to the original SoFlo account, essentially handing SoFlo likes from a page protesting them.

But now SoFloAntonio, the YouTube account run by SoFlo creator Antonio Lievano, has responded to these criticisms in a new video, in which Antonio criticizes h3h3Productions for being “hypocritical,” suggesting that they steal content, too. With h3h3Productions’ channel revolving around poking fun at other channels, Antonio chooses to highlight their “hypocrisy” by only playing the first couple of seconds of a handful of their videos, before concluding his rant by claiming that h3h3Productions are “butthurt” and quoting a Bible passage – because nothing will resolve YouTube drama quicker than Matthew 7:5.

However, a particularly awkward part of the video occurs when Antonio faces his camera towards his monitor, and beneath the video you can clearly see a YouTube video download plugin:

Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to try to defend your content stealing by uploading a video in which evidence of you doing so is clearly visible, SoFloAntonio.

You can watch SoFloAntonio’s video below, and check out h3h3Productions’ video that inspired his regrettable rant right here:
