Be Street Weeknd | Hot In The City

Be Street Weeknd, the self-proclaimed urban festival thrown by the French quarterly street culture publication Be Street, hit L.A. this weekend, filling the vast indoor-outdoor space of The Container Yard in downtown’s Art District with an array of pop-up shops, skating demonstrations, art installations, musical performances, and food trucks. Though the weather was boiling hot, a line-up helmed by deejays Andre Power and Esta kept attendees moving to the beat as they mosied from the Music Stage to playing vintage video games, eating in the outdoor food court, or browsing the various street/skate lifestyle brands who’d set up shop in two adjacent warehouses where artist’s completed installations over the course of the weekend.

Here’s some visuals from the event, as told in photos taken by Stephen Dietrich.
