Be Street Weeknd To Hit Downtown L.A.

Be Street, the quarterly street culture publication founded in 2008, is bringing its pages to life this weekend with its first stateside festival, featuring two-days of pop-up stores, musical performances, art installations, exhibitions, street food, and skating. Celebrating the arrival of the French magazine to the U.S., the festival will be held for the first time in Los Angeles, at the Container Yard – an amazing and spacious indoor-outdoor space in the heart of Downtown’s burgeoning Arts District.

Previous European iterations of the urban festival have attracted thousands of people, and this weekend should be no different, considering the range of artists, brands, skaters, and musicians that the event is bringing together. We’ll be attending with an eye on the performances of Andre Power (Saturday) and Esta (Sunday), the sartorial offerings of Primitive, Mishka, and Herschel Supply Co., and the artistic expressions of Luke Pelletier, Yuka Chocomoo, and Tofer Chin, who we’ve produced an exclusive feature video with (airing next week)!
