Here’s The Pretty Damn Insane Intro Cinematic To Halo 5

Easily one of the most hyped game releases of 2015 is Halo 5: Guardians, the long-awaited return to the world of the Master Chief and the alien Covenant with 343 Industries first foray into the current generation of consoles, throwing up a whole mess of excitement amongst fans of the long-running FPS saga.

With the latest epic Halo title set to drop this October, the drip-feed marketing for the Xbox One exclusive continues with the unveiling of the opening video of the games campaign and, holy shit, is it bonkers and a half.

Featuring a gorramn lot of the games’ new star Nathan Fillion (of Firefly & Castle fame), who filmed motion capture and recorded vocals for his return role as Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck as well as other members of Fireteam Osiris (the group tasked with hunting down the missing Master Chief) the clip is a visual masterpiece and showcases the kind of insanity in store for players.
