This is What Darth Vader’s Helmet Looks Like… On the Inside

Reddit user scoodidabop has posted an image taken from the travelling Star Wars exhibit, which shows what Darth Vader’s helmet looks like on the inside.

The helmet is the prop used in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, in which Anakin transforms into the franchise’s infamous antagonist after being burnt to a crisp by Obi-Wan Kenobi on the lava planet Mustafar.

The Star Wars travelling exhibit has a whole host of screen-used props from the films, though it’s difficult to think that anything could surpass Darth Vader’s helmet as the star attraction.

The image shows the glowing red eyes that were first witnessed when viewers were given an inside look at the iconic headgear during the film’s climax, alongside the breathing apparatus that keeps the Dark Lord of the Sith alive.

It was recently announced that Marvel is planning to reprint Dark Horse’s Star Wars comics, starting with The Empire: Vol 1. Read more here.
