Complex is reporting that if you haven’t signed up for the service before JAY-Z’s service before then, you won’t have access to the highly-anticipated new album. Now, comes the twist. When Sprint invested Sprint invested $200 million in Tidal, industry insiders wondered what they would get in return.
Now, it’s starting to all make sense as part of the Sprint deal , only customers of the carrier will be able to sign up for Tidal after 12AM ET and access the album. It sounds shady, but JAY-Z is a business, man so if you want what he’s selling pay for it. Plus, the recent inductee to the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame has got two more mouths to feed.
