Spotlight | Gant Rugger Looks to Reinvent Classic American Sportswear

If you’re not familiar with Gant, you very well should be. Founded back in 1949 by Bernard Gantmacher, Gant is best known for button down dress shirts, and was actually the company that is credited with the ‘locker loop’ now widely found on the back of shirts.

While Gant has modernized tremendously, the brand certainly isn’t only about the stockbroker suite of apparel. Now headquartered in an utterly stylish region of the world – Stockholm, Sweden – the company is made up of  Gant, Gant Diamond G and, our present focus of attention, Gant Rugger.

The hip counterpart to the more traditional vibes of its labelmates, Gant Rugger is all about offering a slim fit, with items made with premium materials and the most advanced knitting and production processes, in colors and combinations that are utterly appealing. At the top of our list is no doubt a motorcycle jacket that is the definition of timeless, and dress pants that are so slick, you may just permanently retire your jeans.
