Georgia State, UAB, Bust March Madness Brackets On First Day

If you were hopeful for drama, the first day of the NCAA Tournament didn’t disappoint.

Thursday’s opening games saw five games decided by one point, the most for the first full day of tournament play in NCAA history.

After the two mega upsets featuring a pair of 14 seeds in UAB and Georgia State, there are now just 273 out of 11.57 million brackets perfect on ESPN’s Tournament Challenge.

UAB upset Iowa State early in the day 60-59. Georgia State defeated Baylor 57-56. Here are just a few pictures of the celebrating.
