Local Film House Matchbox Pictures’ Kingdom Come Available Across Canada

It’s official – as of December 2nd local independent film house Matchbox Pictures Inc’s latest feature “Kingdom Come” became available across Canada and the US on platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Googleplay, Shaw VOD, Rogers VOD, Comcast,  cable, as well as satellite services in Canada and the US.

It’s also on shelves in Walmart.

Filmed during winter ’13 in a million square-foot abandoned psychiatric hospital, “Kingdom Come” made its way through various film markets, including Cannes and the American Film Market (AFM). Most recently the movie had its North American premiere at the Blood in the Snow (BITS) Film Festival, which was held on November 30th in Toronto.

“Kingdom Come” is about a group of strangers who wake up in an abandoned hospital only to find themselves stalked by a supernatural force with sinister intentions. Directed by Greg A. Sager, this is Matchbox Pictures’ second feature film. Their third feature (a sci-fi project which has yet to be released) is due to go into production in the New Year. The psychological thriller “Cheat” will follow in the summer of 2015.

In the first week of its release, “Kingdom Come” came in third and fifth in Horror on iTunes Canada. The flick is also available in Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and South Africa, with 2015 release dates set for Germany along with the UK.
