Denzel Washington Really Didn’t Like Filming One Particular Scene In The Equalizer

Movies that depict a spec-ops agent or a rogue assassin doing as they please are typically very fun to watch and have a lot of well-done fight choreography. What many of us may take for granted is just how darn annoying it usually is for actors to play these scenes out accurately while still looking like they could feasibly be that individual they’re portraying.

In one particular scene in The Equalizer, in a tool warehouse, Denzel Washington’s character triggers the fire sprinkler system. He expressed firmly that while it may have looked really cool, after a while he just didn’t give a damn.

I guess repetitive, tedious work takes its toll on all of us, no matter what career path you follow, yes? Next time you’re watching a film, maybe look out for those tricky or action-packed shots with a lot of different elements coming together…they were probably a pain in the ass to frame and shoot in a way that would be appealing, revealing or interesting to the moviegoer.
