We’ve come to the end of day one at PAX Prime 2014, and so far the show has been a pleasant surprise. If there’s anything we’ve learned during the past 12 hours it’s that Penny Arcade Expo is definitely one of the big boys now. The Washington Convention Center has been crammed with dozens of booths, hundreds of games, and tens of thousands of people this year. It’s quite the spectacle.
Today was a busy day for us. We got hands on with some of the biggest games at the show, including Mortal Kombat X and H1Z1, got some hands on with Alienware’s line-up of forward-thinking devices including the Alienware Alpha (its Steam Box solution coming this November), in addition to having the opportunity to speak to game developers. We’ve got a few interviews and plenty of previews already lined up, but for now we’ve got a recap on everything that happened during Day 1.
