A Reddit User Has Leaked Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s Map, and It Looks Massive

The world map of Assassin’s Creed: Unity map was purportedly leaked by Reddit user “Skelaa” earlier today, and if the leak is real, the game’s size and scope are looking mighty impressive.

Skelaa said the following about the map in his or her post.

It looks huge and diversified. To give you an idea of size : just look at the “Île de la Cité” in the middle, all the streets, almost a little village! And don’t forget we can enter 1/4 of the buildings, so the map will seem bigger!

Though yet to be verified, the leak appears reputable when you consider the information we already know. It’s been stated that Unity‘s world size is comparable to that of Assassin’s Creed 3‘s Frontier, albeit with many more buildings to enter and activities to partake in. Additionally, Ubisoft is known for its painstaking replication of real-life locales; this map, if real, marks an impressive yet expected continuation of that trend.

Meanwhile, another Reddit user has compare the leak to an actual Paris map, and the attention to detail is staggering (right click “open image in new tab” to see the full size).

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is scheduled to release October 28th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so hopefully we’ll know by then if this is the real deal.
