Neil Jackson Rides Into ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2

During the seventh episode of “Sleepy Hollow” Season 1, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) learned that the Headless Horseman was once his good friend, Abraham Von Brunt. While Neil Jackson has made only the single appearance as Abraham, he will have a much larger role when “Sleepy Hollow” returns this year.

Deadline was the first to report that Jackson has signed on for “Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 as recurring performer. Presumably this means that Ichabod and Abraham’s friendship will be fleshed out in flashbacks. Potentially, it could also mean that the Horseman finds some way to regain his head in the present as he attempts to reclaim Ichabod’s wife, Katrina (Katia Winter) as his bride.

Jackson has previously appeared in numerous TV series, including “Person of Interest,” “Make It or Break It,” “Upstairs Downstairs,” “FlashForward,” “Stargate: Atlantis,” “CSI: Miami” and “How I Met Your Mother.” Marvel fans may also recall Jackson as Marcus Van Sciver, the lead vampire villain on “Blade: The Series.”

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 will premiere this fall on Fox.
