David Mazouz Is The New Bruce Wayne In Fox’s ‘Gotham’ Series

After the end of “Touch,” Kiefer Sutherland quickly found himself back at Fox with “24: Live Another Day.” Now his former onscreen son is also heading back to the network in a major role.

TVLine broke the news that David Mazouz has been cast as Bruce Wayne in “Gotham,” the upcoming Batman prequel that has already been given a series order by Fox. “Gotham” is said to take place shortly after the infamous murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents; which will ultimately send Bruce on a journey to become Batman.
 
In addition to his two seasons on “Touch,” Mazouz has also appeared on “Private Practice,” “Criminal Minds” and “The Office.”
 
The TVLine report also notes that newcomer Camren Bicondova has been cast as a very young Selina Kyle, the future Catwoman who is “wholly unpredictable” and “dangerous when cornered.” 
 
Ben McKenzie leads the “Gotham” cast as Detective James Gordon; with Donal Logue as  Detective Harvey Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin. Zabryna Guevara also stars in the series as Captain Essen, Gordon’s boss; with Erin Richards as Gordon’s fiancee, Barbara Kean.
 
“Gotham” is expected to premiere this fall on Fox.
