NBA All-Star Weekend: All-Time Biggest Surprises

Hard to believe a guy that was in and out of the D-League the year before — and who is now playing in Germany — once won the NBA Three-Point Shootout, but in 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend was Cookin’. Daequan’s three-point percentage in ’09 was .387 — not awful, not great. His percentage for his short six year career was .359. Cook defeated two-time defending champion Jason Kapono for the crown. Kapono shot .428 from behind the arc that season and .514 two years previous.
