During the fourth season of “The Walking Dead,” Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group of survivors weathered a viral outbreak and maintained the lives they had built for themselves within the prison walls.
However, the return of The Governor (David Morrissey) destroyed the survivors’ home and left a few beloved characters dead in his wake. In the aftermath, the Governor was killed, but Rick’s group has been separated.
AMC has released a brief trailer for the second half of “The Walking Dead” Season 4 that shows Rick’s physical condition deteriorating while offering up glimpses of Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohen), Beth (Emily Kinney), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman) and Daryl (Norman Reedus). According to AMC’s description, the survivors will face “new dangers, new enemies, and heartbreaking choices” that “will have their faith thoroughly tested — a faith that breaks some of them and redeems others.”
“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on Sunday, February 9.
