After nearly two years, “Sherlock” Season 3 is on the horizon.
During “Sherlock” Season 2, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) was forced to fake his own death in order to protect John Watson (Martin Freeman) and the small circle of people whom Sherlock cared about. Sherlock also had to appease Moriarty, by tarnishing his own reputation as a detective before seemingly committing suicide.
Following the initial broadcast of “Doctor Who: The Day of The Doctor,” BBC One released a new teaser trailer for “Sherlock” Season 3 that features John visiting Sherlock’s grave shortly before the great detective reveals to his friend that he’s alive.
And judging from this trailer, Sherlock’s survival won’t be a secret for very long.
“Sherlock” Season 3 will make its American premiere on Sunday, January 19 on PBS. A premiere date on BBC One has not yet been announced.
