Hockey Play Of The Year?

Who the heck is Tomas Hertl? One bad-ass hockey player from the looks of it.

Hertl, a 19-year-old rookie from the Czech Republic, played in just his third game for the San Jose Tuesday night and ended up scoring four goals in his team's 9-2 win over the Rangers. He tied the Sharks all-time record for goals in a game and now leads the NHL with seven points and six goals for the season. He is the youngest to score four goals in a game since Jimmy Carson with the Kings in 1988.

However, people can't make up their minds as to which was more impressive: the four goals total our the insane trick play that was the fourth goal?

Exhibit A: the fourth goal.

Here is the goal in real-time, which is even more impressive.

Here is a montage of all four goals.

The best part is that the rookie had his mother and girlfriend at the game who were in from the Czech Republic. It was basically Niagra Falls in the stands the entire third period.
