The government shutdown just got real.
The Department of Defense announced Tuesday, via Crave’s NESN website, the suspension of all collegiate athletics at our nation’s military academies. Navy and Air Force are actually supposed to play this weekend.
If the shutdown continues past Thursday morning, it could lead to cancellation or postponement of this week’s football games.
