X-Rated Run Coming To Florida?

With the increasing popularity of 5-Ks, 10-Ks, Color Runs, Tough Mudders, etc… it’s obvious young America is ditching the burger and fries for a healthier lifestyle. What else does America love? For better or for worse: anything X-rated.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see this in Sports Illustrated’s next “Signs of the Apocalypse.” According to the Miami New Times, there will soon be an “X-Rated Mud Run” taking place in Florida this winter — and it will likely be the first of many.

The first annual X-Rated Mud Run was founded and organized by Kelly Perez, owner of online erotic store sensualsteals.com. The Run, created to promote sexual positivity and healthy living, is an untimed, adult-themed, 5k obstacle course and mud run for men and women of all fitness levels. The event will take place on Saturday, February 22, at the Mud Muckers Park in Bunnell, Fla., a town near Daytona Beach…

…And instead of the usual obstacle courses, X-Rated Run is going all out.

“What would be a normal climbing wall will actually be a boob wall. It will be shaped like boobs,” Perez said. “We have a penis crawl. It’s going to be really wild and outrageous.”

You’re probably still stuck on “boob wall,” but there’s more. What else could possibly be offered amongst this boob-grabbing and penis dodging? The Run will have beer, adult star appearances, live music and food. While there’s no actual nudity allowed at the event, there will be plenty of eye candy with mud wrestling and pole-dancing contests. For some sexy life lessons, the event will have pole-dancing demonstrations and inform attendees on how they can incorporate sex in their fitness routines.

It will be interesting to see if this is something the public will embrace or not. I’m all about a healthy lifestyle, but does an obstacle course really need to be turned into a “boob wall?” I’ll tell ya this much — if the women show up, the men are sure to follow.
