After months of Matt Damon saying he doesn’t want to come back to the Bourne franchise, a) because director Paul Greengrass has left it, and; b) because The Bourne Legacy added elements into the previous movies instead of staking its own ground … there are new rumors that he might reprise his signature Jason Bourne role.
Monday Crave’s Collider website posted the rumor that Damon and Greengrass were negotiating to return to the franchise and then posted a Universal Pictures source saying there was no truth to that rumor — which in Hollywood-speak means something might be up.
