Jim Beaver Returns For ‘Supernatural’ Season 9

Last season on “Supernatural,” every angel was cast out of heaven. And apparently, they weren’t the only ones.

On his Twitter account, Jim Beaver wrote “Try not to get excited, but I’m coming back to SUPERNATURAL.  For real.” Beaver also wrote “I don’t know how or why, but I know when.  Once I’ve read the script, I’ll know how & why.  But you won’t. :-)” before later adding “Read the script. Didn’t see this one coming. Whatever you think it is — it ain’t.”

Beaver went on to jokingly describe several fake scenarios for Bobby’s return to the series. Beaver made his initial appearance as Bobby during the first season of “Supernatural” before becoming a major character on the series. Bobby was killed off during the seventh season and he briefly existed as a ghost before Beaver left the series. During the eighth season, Beaver made one guest appearance as Bobby’s soul was rescued from hell and sent directly to heaven.

Some of Beaver’s previous TV appearances include “Monk,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Big Love,” “John From Cincinnati,” “Harper’s Island” and a memorable stint on “Deadwood.” More recently, Beaver has appeared in “Justified,” “Breaking Bad,” “Dexter” and “The Middle.”

“Supernatural” Season 9 will premiere on Wednesday, October 13 on the CW.
