UFC Is Coming Back To Toronto

The UFC is returning to Toronto for UFC 165: Jones vs Gustafsson.

On Saturday, September 21st at the Air Canada Centre, Jon “Bones” Jones will take on Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson to defend his lightweight title.

“Jon Jones is re-writing the record book for the light heavyweight division,” UFC President Dana White said (Fightnews.com). “He is one of the pound-for-pound best in the world with a record-tying five straight title defenses by age 25. This bout with Gustafsson is an awesome fight. Alex is a big man plus he’s mean and hungry – and excited for the opportunity to fight Jones.”

Barao vs Wineland

Ricci vs Jury

Menjivar vs Yamamoto

Guelmino vs Omielanczuk

Clements vs Thompson

Bocek vs Prazeres

The last fight in Toronto was when Jon Jones defended his title against Vitor Belfort at UFC 152. More than 16,000 people were in attendance. Tickets for the September UFC matchup go on sale this week – UFC Fight Club presale begins today, while public sale starts on Thursday.
