Mandatory Tweets: Reese Witherspoon’s Take on NFTs, Crypto and Metaverse Is Not a Popular One on Twitter (And We’re Loving It)

Reese Witherspoon, former American national treasure, has fallen to the dark side. In the latest trend of celebrities beginning to endorse cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and the Metaverse, Reese has recently become the latest advocate for Blockchain technology, but she just doesn’t know it yet. Back in September of last year, Witherspoon began tweeting about crypto. Since then, she has not stopped tweeting about crypto. Which begs us to ask the question — Are you okay Reese? 

Then, she tweeted this:

In the lead-up to the new year, Witherspoon began tweeting more frequently about Crypto in a more sympathetic tone. She even managed to rope more celebrities into the NFT sphere. Unfortunately for her, Reese’s undying love for crypto took a turn for the worst in 2022. On January 11th, a day that will live in infamy, Reese Witherspoon tweeted the following:

Naturally, all of Witherspoon’s fans began to worry that she might be following in the footsteps of Matt’s Damon’s god-awful crypto ad. Now Witherspoon is the second celebrity to get roasted by the Twitter cavalcade. Even though she has clearly jumped aboard the Crypto/NFT/Metaverse train, the destination is still unknown. As evidenced by the internet’s reactions, Reese Witherspoon may have boarded a bit too early.
