Girl Clogs Toilet On Tinder Date And Her Nightmare Didn’t End There

This story is as brilliant as it is bizarre, so let’s just get right into it.

A man named Liam Smyth decided to go on a Tinder with a gal (who is unnamed for reasons that will be come obvious very soon). Well the date ended up being so bad that Smyth actually set up a GoFundMe in order to offset the cost of the date. Let us explain.

After getting dinner with his date, Smyth and his date headed back to his place to drink some wine and watch a doc. And that’s when the gal decided to use the restroom, only to return with some pretty…shitty news.

Here’s what Smyth says on GoFundMe.

“She returned with a panicked look in her eye, and told me she had something to tell me.

I went for a poo in your toilet”, she told me “and it would not flush. I don’t know why I did this, but I panicked”, she continued “I reached into the toilet bowl, wrapped it in tissue paper, and threw it out of the window”.

Unfortunately for this gal her BM didn’t end up outside, but instead in a gap that leads to another window — a window which doesn’t open at all. And what do you think Smyth’s date did? She went to retrieve it.

First off, here’s the gap.

Spot the poop?

Oh, and remember we told you that Smyth’s date tried to retrieve the poop because she’s an “amateur gymnast”? Well she did just that, using a plastic bag as a glove she passed the poop off to her date. One problem, though: she became completely stuck between the window.

Here’s photo proof.

Holy hell, what a nightmare. It got worse: firefighters had to be called to release this poor gal from her miserable situation.

All in all the cost for fixing the window was about $400 and that’s why the GoFundMe was set up by Smyth.

If Smyth ends up getting more money than what he needs, he has explained that the rest of the money will be split between two charities. The two charities? Toilet twinning, a charity that builds and maintains flushing toilets in the developing world. And a firefighters’ charity. What a swell guy.

No word yet if there will be a second date. I’m going to assume there won’t be.

Update: I was wrong. Here’s what Smyth told BBC Points West:

“I met up with her again for a drink briefly afterwards.”

And on whether there will be more dates to come:

“Well, I’m really busy with my dissertation at the moment but as to what the future holds, I don’t know. But she was certainly a very, very nice girl.”
