People Are Sharing What Their Favorite Public Statues Are And Some Are Hilarious (And Bizarre)

In case you’ve been living under a rock recently there has been a debate over the removal of Confederate statues from public property. One of those statues has been the statue of general Robert E. Lee, who led an insurrection against the United States to protect slavery during the Civil War. So it pretty much represents racism, and of course the different points of view has led to violent protests and clashes.

So far some cities are getting rid of these controversial statues in the middle of the night, but whatever your feeling on that is, one reporter decided to asks the internet what their favorite statue is. The reporter? Matt Pearce from the Los Angeles Times.
