‘Tron 3’ is Finally Booting Up

After years of anticipation, Tron 3 is finally going into beta. Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski and stars Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde are returning, but where the heck is Daft Punk? Their score for Tron Legacy was a big part of what made the film such a trippy delight, and we’re not sure we want Tron 3 without them. And will Cillian Murphy finally make good on his cameo in Tron Legacy? And what new possibilities await us on the grid, now that we’ll finally be out in the modern world of high-speed internet and complex video games?

David Lynch Exits ‘Twin Peaks’ Reunion

Six months after the unbelievable announcement that Twin Peaks would return to television, series creator David Lynch dropped the bombshell that he is walking away from the project. According to Lynch, Showtime isn’t ponying up enough dough to produce the new Twin Peaks series properly. The cast supports him, and Showtime claims they still want to make this series happen, but will they really produce the series without him? Did David Lynch’s original departure from the series result in a massive dip in quality? Could Showtime crowdsource the new Twin Peaks series, or would admitting that they don’t have enough money to produce the show be a horrible PR move?

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Lacks Vision, Vetoes Post-Credits Scene

Audiences are getting nervous about Marvel’s vision… er, Vision. He’s been suspiciously absent from most of the marketing materials so far. Is Marvel Studios hiding something, or are they simply trying not to get our hopes up for a character who may only appear at the end of the film? And what does this new announcement, that there will be no post-credits scene at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, really mean? Should you stay for the credits anyway, just in case?
